2nd Chance Center

There are only a handful of shelters aiding the thousands of homeless people in the Columbus area. We've decided to establish the 2nd Chance Center to help serve this community that has fallen through the cracks.

Our facility will empower the needy by providing a variety of services, including: medical & dental resources, counseling, food & clothing pantries, social services, alcohol & drug programs, and job training. We will also have several social enterprises on site to generate revenue and encourage community involvement.

Help us reach our initial goal of $100,000 to open this facility in downtown Columbus by the end of 2020.

Street Outreach

The heart of our ministry is our street outreach. We are dedicated to serving the homeless, victims of trafficking and families who need assistance. We hand out nutritious meals, provide basic necessities (like food, clothing, hygiene products) and help individuals with job and housing placement.

Home Makeovers

When individuals who have been living on the street are assigned housing, we step in and make their house a home. These women don't usually have access to decor and the basic necessities required to establish the comfort of home. We gather these resources and help them to set up a safe, comfortable living environment from which they can rebuild their lives.

IMPACT:

Our Love Truck Outreach was enormously successful — it allowed us to serve thousands of people on the streets of Columbus!

We saw firsthand how blessing others with simple things like great food and hot showers boosted the confidence and self respect of those who received these resources. We were also amazed that by simply demonstrating compassion and companionship to those less fortunate, it gave them hope and a desire to rebuild their lives.
